Real name: Adelaide Mary Isaacs

Effective period / Period of releases: 1915

English actress, singer, entertainer (3 March 1874 – 5 October 1966)

Considered one of the biggest stars of late nineteenth and early twentieth century international variety and musical comedy, Ada Reeve also had an extensive association with Australia. She came to the country professionally no less than six times between 1897 and 1929, and from 1929 to 1935 lived and worked there. Linked to all the biggest firms in Australian theatre, namely J.C. In addition to her work in musical comedy, vaudeville, revue, and pantomime she also worked in comedy drama, cabaret, films and radio (including the early Australian film and radio industries).
