Canadian bassist born May 5, 1955, in St-Éloi, Québec. He is almost considered as the best bass player of those last decades. Founder of the label Norac Records.
In the 80's, he formed the band UZEB with Michel Cusson and Paul Brochu. ''UZEB'' was a famous jazz fusion trio which was particularly involved in using synthesizers and a lot of digitally controlled musical instruments. Then, in the 90's he formed Alain Caron Le Band, a quite larger band, including the finest jazz fusion musicians from Canada or France. He also performed with famous drummer Dennis Chambers, guitarist Jean-Marie Ecay, and violinist Didier Lockwood.
