Members: Skye Klein, Robert Allen (2), George Hatzigeorgiou, David Ryan (8), Mitch Cornish

Australian post-industrial sludge and noisecore band. Beginning as a four piece, HALO (official capitalization) self-released two CDs in limited numbers before compacting to it’s current two piece lineup. HALO are experimental, but there is always the structure of a song hidden beneath their depressive noisescapes.

Formed in 1994 as In Sect (Skye Klein - guitar/voice, George Hatzigeorgiou - bass/voice, Ben Dixon - drums). Released one self-titled cassette, sold at gigs and one dark/alternative record store in Melbourne called Heartland Records.
In 1995 changed name to Insect (Skye Klein - guitar/voice, George Hatzigeorgiou - bass/voice, Rob Dawson - drums), released one cassette ("Empty Space and Points of Light", 1995) - the B-side to the cassette contained the Circle of Lebanon recordings.
In 1997 changed name to HALO.

On hold since 2005.
