Real name: Joe Hardy

American producer, engineer and musician. Born July 27, 1952 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Died February 12, 2019 in Houston, Texas.
Worked with ZZ Top and Billy Gibbons, Siniestro Total, Alice Cooper, Ry Cooder, The Georgia Satellites, The Replacements, Steve Earle, Tom Cochrane, Al Green, the Jeff Healey Band, Booket T. & The MG's, Green On Red, Tommy Keene, Carl Perkins, Colin James, Kim Mitchell, Leslie Spit Treeo and others at Memphis' Ardent Studios and his own studio, Casa De Joe.
For more than 2 decades at Argent Studios, Hardy often worked with producer Jim Dickinson or John Hampton before moving to Houston in the early 2000s.
