Members: Paul Hindemith, Rudolf Hindemith, Licco Amar, Walter Caspar, Maurits Frank

String quartet ensemble, also known as the Amar-Hindemith Quartet, co-founded by the composer Paul Hindemith in 1921, named after its principal violinist, Licco Amar.
The ensemble was disbanded in 1929.

Not to be confused with the Amar Quartett, a Swiss string quartet ensemble that adopted the same name since 1995.
