Canadian poet and songwriter who grew up in Timmins, Ontario.
Born in Geneva, Switzerland, he studied at University in Paris and completed a Masters there. The main part of his career was as a musician/composer and he is best known as the writer/co-writer of French language songs by folk duo Kate & Anna McGarrigle. By 1998, he worked as a farmer in Dunham, Quebec.
