Rob Heath was born 27 April 1957 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He's a singer-songwriter, releasing four studio albums since launching his recording career in the mid 1980s. Heath won the New Folk competition at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival (2003), and earned first place in the Calgary Folk Music Festival Songwriting Contest (2011). He has also won a Canadian Radio Music Award for “Songwriter of the Year”. Heath holds a monthly songwriter circle, every month in his home, for Edmonton area singer-songwriters.
