The first Metalband from Wolfsburg,Lower Saxony (Germany) with a more brutal approach was the Speed/Thrash band Death Attack, which was formed in 1985 by André "Ace" Borawski on guitar, Peter Laske on bass, Peter Schulz on drums and Michael Hasse on vocals. Death Attack rehearsed in the rehearsalroom of Steeltower, where they - with a taperecorder - recorded the only two songs by the band, ”Warriors of Death” and ”Death Attack” (in 2007 released on a 7'' vinyl by the swedish recordcompany I Hate Records.
In the summer of 1986 Michael left Death Attack and started looking for bandmembers for an even more aggressive and brutal band.
