Progressive/gothic metal band from Milan, Italy.

The project started in August 2008, in Milan, from the meeting between Paolo Paul Raimondi (guitar), Andrea Fagio Fagiuoli (bass) and Simone Simon Carminati (drums). Shortly after, Mauro Paganelli (guitar) joined the band. After a few months, Giulia Stefani enters as the singer.
The name ''Ravenscry'' comes from a book read by the guitarist Paul, ''Brimstone'' (''Dossier Brimstone'' in the Italian edition) by Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston.
After the release of the third album ''The Invisible'' (2018) the guitarist and founder Paolo Paul Raimondi left the line-up in order to take care exclusively of the production of the songs.
He was officially replaced in autumn by Federico Schiavoni, who already played with Ravenscry during different gigs.
