German stage author, actor and film director (* December 21, 1891 in Neustadt an der Orla, German Empire; † October 28, 1972 in Krailling near Munich, Germany).Founder of the German artist family Fitz. Father of Walter Fitz, Gerd Fitz and Veronika Fitz. Grandfather of Lisa Fitz and Michael Fitz.
