Retired classical timpanist.He worked with the Guildford Philharmonic Orchestra, the Scottish Ballet, The Welsh National Opera Orchestra and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra before joining the Philharmonia Orchestra for which he was principal timpanist for 42 years. He retired in spring 2015.
