Members: Jerry Zubal

Detroit-based band originally known as Tea. Under the management of Ed "Punch" Andrews, they became known as 1776 and released their lone album on Andrews's Palladium imprint, which issued Bob Seger's early recordings. The album was recorded at Pampa Studios, which recorded many of Seger's albums and others in Andrews's artist stable. Guitarist and vocalist Jerry Zubal later recorded for RSO Records as Rockicks. After Rockicks, he joined the Detroit-based Pendragon (14).
