US producer, engineer, executive. Worked at Mirasound Studios (New York). Director of the legendary Electric Lady Studios. He is credited for giving Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons their big break that ultimately led to the introduction to producer Eddie Kramer. Eddie produced the 5 track demo that ultimately led to the first Kiss album and ultimately stardom on a celestial scale! But before all the fame and fortune, Ron had produced Paul and Gene's pre-KISS band Wicked Lester and, interestingly enough, Peter Criss's pre-KISS band Chelsea as well. Often misspelled "Ron Johnson".
