Fatal Opera was an American thrash metal band formed in 1990 by former Megadeth drummer Gar Samuelson. Released two full-length studio albums before disbanding in 1999. They were based in Orange City, Florida. However, in 2022, the band was brought back together in addition to a few of Gar Samuelson's former bandmates from Megadeth. They were brought together to record Fatal Opera's 3rd and final album over old drum tracks. It was in loving memory of Gar Samuelson who had tragically died in 1999.
