Montgomery 21 was an emo band from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada active from 1995 to 1997. The band recorded three demo tapes but only officially released the first one. The second and third demo tapes were at the time considered pre-production recordings for a planned full-length album, which never came to fruition, and were kept within the band. One song from the second demo tape appeared on the compilation "The Difference Between Us" in 1997. A discography was planned for several years through Re-Define Records but the majority of the band's material was publicly unavailable until Abridged Pause Blog released it digitally with the band's official biography.
