2002: Winner of a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Lifetime Achievement Award under the auspices of the Hawaiʻi Academy of Recording Arts. Also was the leader of The Leo Nahenahe Singers, which as a group received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
Most recently author and compiler of "Ho‘āhu ‘Ana O Nā Mele" which is a collection of songs, stories and pictures with a CD that includes the featured songs, self-published, 2015
