Present From Margate included Simon Byford on guitar, and his brother, from Polesworth (near Tamworth) and the singer was Jem Mcauley, later in The Message with Martin Kelly. Fertile Records - together with Magic Ear Management - was run by Ian Gibbons, a well-known Tamworth music entrepreneur.
