Biography
Γιώργος Βιτάλης
Conductor and composer, born 9 Jan. 1895 in Athens, Greece; died 27 Apr. 1959. He was conductor of the Khedivial Opera House (Royal Opera House), Cairo. He also worked with Saint-Saens and Ravel in Paris, and with Richard Strauss and Furtwangler in Berlin. He went to the USA in 1946.
