US American singer & guitarist from the Los Angeles area. A Wyoming native, he'd moved to California in the late 1960s. He was involved in bands such as The Lid and Silverskin. When he met the 3 musicians of Truth he involved them (and other musicians) on his 1970 album, recorded over 4 months. After its release in November 1970 it didn't sell well. Smith still recorded material in the 1970s, and later reverted to country music as Buck Smith, releasing an album titled Love Don't Burn around 1997. He died from a heart attack in 2007, in Deltona, Florida (USA).
