Reckon With One

A 3 piece progressive metal band from the Toronto area. The band was formed in 1998 by Mark Anthony (Guitar), Andy Muehlberg (Bass and Vocals) and Gerry Keough (Drums). In 1999 the band released its first full length album "Shock to the System" and played mainly around Ontario and some Quebec shows. In 2000 the band did their first tour of Canada and recorded their Winnipeg show on 8 - track ADAT. That recording was later mixed and released as a live Ep called "Live - Identity Crisis". Only 50 copies were made and sent to radio and magazines in North America and Europe. Only a few were given to family and friends making it the hardest recording to find from this band. In 2001 the group released their 2nd full length album called "The Purpose of Existence". More touring followed and a distribution deal with Montreal ' s Galy Records helped get the album to many more people around the world. In 2004 the band released their 3rd album, a concept album called "In Human Need". After a tour of Canada, Bassist and Vocalist Andy Muehlberg left the band. The group split up shortly after. In 2012, Mark Anthony (Guitar) reformed the band with new members Andrew Zenti (Drums) Marco Vukovic (Bass) and Michael Burley (Vocals). An Ep was released in July of 2014. In 2015, Mark broke his leg and spent 3 months in hospital. He decided to split the band up again, but will reform it again at a later date.
