They started as a quartet: Mae Starr (vocalist), Mini Wagonwheel (bassist), Herman Jolly (guitarist/vocalist), and Gilles (drummer). In 1997, however, Herman Jolly was ousted from the group, and later, S. de Leon S. joined, as well as Amanda Mason Wiles. Later, they become a trio again.
