Real name: Frank J. Rehak

Bebop trombonist who played with Miles, Coltrane, Gil Evans and many others, whose career was cut short due to heroin addiction. He cleaned up in 1969 at Synanon, and spent the rest of his life trying to help other addicts.

Born July 07, 1926, New York City, died June 26, 1987, Badger, California
