Began in 1986 as a noise/ experimental outfit. Ending in 1998 Anal Solvent had become an experimental/ electronic act. Various performers came and went throughout the years. Live concerts involved performance anti-art. The use of various visual elements were always brought into play. Anal Solvent is one of the earliest Portland, OR bands to include computers and sequencers in a live rock setting.
