Effective period / Period of releases: 1966 - 1969

Country singer and label owner, founded with Otis Ellis. A two-week gig at Ellis' Lucky Eleven Bar resulted in the two forming a partnership.

In 1959, the Tennessee-born Slaughter was just out of the Air Force and had relocated to Flint, Michigan (in the greater Detroit area) to work in the General Motors plant there.
