Freddy Golden

After his education at the Twents Conservatory, Freddy Golden (born in Enschede on August 6, 1940 as Fred Gaasbeek), starts as a pianist-entertainer. He also played accordion, clarinet, organ, cither and was an entertainer. He later forms a successful duo with his wife Helen, as Helen & Fred recording between 1966 and 1971 who also performed in Germany. He writes songs for Gert and Hermien Timmerman and from 1967 has his own orchestra with which he accompanies various shows on radio and TV for years.
