American African-American Gospel producer and record company owner.
Born October 14, 1936 in Red Level, Alabama.
Died May 2000 (age of 63). He was active in the 1970s and 1980s.

Not the same as Gospel singer, songwriter John Daniel.

Daniels started The John Daniels Gospel Series with releases mostly from New Birth Records, which he owned. He also owned the gospel record labels Glori Records and for a time, Tomato. The New York "New Birth Records" was a division of ERH Sales Corp, by record number 7055. John Daniels was a prolific gospel producer on many of the releases on Savoy Records records, and was rivaled only by Rev. Milton Biggham for the number of Savoy gospel albums he produced.
