Real name: Корнев Петр Казимирович = Kornev Petr Kazimirovich

Petr Kornev (born 15 August 1947) is a jazz pianist and composer. Since 1969 he has been a permanent member of the David Goloshchekin ensemble, and since 1973 has been actively participating in performances at jazz festivals in the country and abroad (Germany, Finland), repeatedly becoming a laureate of various Russian festivals. He writes his own music - jazz compositions, music for documentaries and theatrical performances. The head of the ensemble "Ars-Nova-Jazz", created by him in 1986. Teaches jazz piano at the College of Music, College of Arts, St. Petersburg University of Culture and Arts.
