Japan's longest running Latin big band. Formed by Tadaaki Misago in September 1949. They were responsible for popularizing many Latin musical styles in Japan, by playing covers of Latin originals as well as their own Latin arrangements of Japanese pop hits. They released over 200 albums between 1949 and 1980, when they ceased activities.
The group was reformed in 2005 by Misago's son, Kazuaki Misago.
