Prolific British DJ and producer and record shop owner, Moodie was also the first British born artist to record and find acceptance in Jamaica. He was also one of the first reggae promoters online, starting the Moodie Music website in the early 90s

Best known for his hit "Reggae On The Moon" - according to some the inspiration for the The Police's "Walking On the Moon" (although Sting never mentioned this, and it is not unlikely "Walking On The Moon" preceded "Reggae On The Moon" by a few years), Moodie has released numerous dub, roots, and lovers rock albums through his label Moodie Music
