The original L. A. horror-punk band from Mid-City.Crankshaft was formed in the late seventies by members of the Mid City Punks (MCP13), Lino Ochoa (Lousy), Shaggy, Carleton, and Fly. After some reorganization, the Shaft signed on to do some of Doug Moody's now coveted "Party Power" comp LPs.
