Australian pop singer & performer Yvonne Barrett (1946-1985) appeared on The Go!! Show television series in 1965, and then recorded three singles for the Go!! label which were minor hits in Melbourne. She recorded a single for Columbia in 1970, `Lu'/`Picture Me Gone', then moved into club and television work. She was tragically murdered in Sydney on 2 September 1985; her estranged husband was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment.
