Pedal steel and slide guitarist from the USA.
His career started in 1988 with Souled American. In 1994 he joined Freakwater and touring and recording with them for some years. He left the band in 1996 to join Wilco with whom he toured and recorded until 1998. He then started his solo career, while also playing as a session musician with Billy Bragg, doing a reunion recording with Freakwater, as well as studio sessions with other bands and producing. He performed with Blue Rodeo from 2000-2016.
