Indian classical vocalist and tabla player (1918-2002) of the Mewati gharana. He was introduced into music by his father Motiram. Among his well-known disciples is his younger brother Pandit Jasraj. His elder brother was classical vocalist Pandit Maniram Ji.
Pandit Pratap Narayan's sons Jatin Pandit and Lalit Pandit became the well known composer duo Jatin Lalit, his daughter Sulakshana Pandit a Bollywood singer and actress.
