Kat Onoma is a french rock band from Strasbourg (2 guitars, bass, drums and a singer) with unusual colours brought by a trumpeter. "Ambient rock" could be a good way to qualify their style, beyond rock, blues, and a lot of other influences ; beyond language frontiers too (Rodolphe Burger sings in english, french or spanish). Silence takes an import part in Kat Onoma's music, leaving an impression of space and serenity. To give a comparison, we could talk about Japan (David Sylvian's band) transposed in a rock approach.
