Black Elk was a post-classical group founded by Ian Hawgood working alongside Tim Martin, Danny Norbury (cello), Clem Leek (piano), Aki Tomita (vocals) for the album 'Sparks'. The group worked as a duet of Hawgood and Norbury, or trio as Hawgood, Norbury, Leek for live shows and most of the 'Sketches' series.
