He was the first guitarist in the Renzo Arbore's Orchestra Italiana. After a period of depression he committed suicide in August 1997.In the L'Orchestra Italiana they will call him "Pirata", the "Pirate", because he always wore a red bandana.
He also was a collaborator of the group Popularia.
