Yusuf Al-Manyalawi

1847-1911. Egyptian singer and composer. Of the first to enter the commercial Egyptian record market at the turn of the century. Apart from early cylinder recordings, Manyalawi recorded about 90 double sided records; for Beka, under the "Sama al Muluk" label in 1905; and Gramophone between 1906 and 1911.
