L'Invention de Morel

L'invention de Morel was a short-lived emo-hardcore/screamo band from Paris, France that existed from December of 1995 to May of 1997. In this time they released one demo EP, the last four songs of which were eventually reissued as a 7" on US label Unfortunate For The Fortunate Records.

Thomas Guillanton - Drums
Olivier Lépine - Bass

Thomas was an ex-member of Finger Print, Jasemine, and Ananda (3). Olivier ran the distro Laissez-Nous Jouer and, together with Finger Print vocalist Nicolas Fisseau, the label La Libre Expression, which released L'invention's demo, as well as some records by Ananda (3) and Ivich.
