Born in Montreal, Joe Padulo started a singing career as a teen in 1958 and by 1961 he had published three singles with moderate success, his latest under the name Dean Morgan. Without having stepped out of the local music scene completely, he founded Dean Morgan Productions and directed various promotional events for Eaton’s. Morgan was an influencer of the “in-crowd” and he joined the popular TV show “Like Young” broadcasted on CFCF, where, for a few years, he had the triple role of talent scout, singer and weekly chronicler of the latest fashion trends.
