Nathan Fontenot
Real name: Nathan L. Fontenot
Cajun and country fiddler, guitarist, and vocalistHe played with Country Playboys from 1951 to 1953 in Baton Rouge, and then quit for about 12 years. He also played country with Harlan Hazelton. He played two years at Fred's Lounge in Mamou, two years with Robert Elkins and Gene Savoy. He also played many years at the Friday night street dance at the Cotton Festival in Ville Platte.
