The Fluid was a garage / indie rock band from Denver, Colorado, USA. They formed in 1984, and on July 5th 1985 they played their first gig as The Fluid at the German House (Denver Turnverein). They disbanded in late 1993, and then reconvened in June 2008. A series of live dates followed during 2009, but after that The Fluid disbanded again. Guitarist Rick Kulwicki died on February 15th 2011 (at 49 years of age). In March 2011, and again in January 2012, The Fluid participated in fundraiser shows for Kulwicki's twin sons.
