Doo-wop - soul vocal quintet from Tennessee, U.S. [Not to be confused with acapella New Yorkers The Zirkons that often released records as The Zircons]
They started their career as The Capes. After one single, they were renamed The Zircons and were signed at King Records (3). They released two singles at King Records (3) and then they moved to New York where they released three more singles at Heigh-Ho. In the late 60s they signed at Capitol Records releasing just one single. The three brothers as a sibling trio, without Robert Eppinger and Emmanuel Thompson were renamed The Meadows (2) and released three more singles in 1977 - 1978 at Kayvette Records and an album in 1981 at Radio Records (5)
