American Christian music pianist, author, songwriter and choral arranger.
Born on October 25, 1930 in the town of Okeene, Oklahoma. Died September 29, 2019.She was married to minister Frank Garlock and mother of Shelly Hamilton.
She was a graduate of Bob Jones University and served on the faculty of the University for over eighteen years teaching hymn playing. She was the author of Hymnplayer, a series of twelve pedagogical books for the sacred pianist.
Frank and Flora Jean started their publishing company Majesty Music (Majesty Music, Inc.) in their home in 1973. That same year the Garlocks began conducting music seminars around the country.
