The Spenót (in English:Spinach) band was formed in the summer of 1981 in Farkasrét, Budapest, Hungary. In the spring of 1982, a large fluctuation began, many musicians turned up in the band e.g. Jáki Attila, a member of the later R-GO resp. Königh Péter.

Horváth Csilla - Vocals (1981-1982);
Sőth Sándor - Bass guitar (1981-);
Tóth Zoltán - Guitar (1981-1982);
Tüü Károly - Drums (1981-1982).

Members since 1983:

Vámos Ildikó - Vocals (1983-);
Sőth Sándor - Bass guitar, vocals;
Povorai Gábor - Guitar (1983-);
Kárpáti József - Trumpet;
Mosonyi Csaba - Synthesizers (1983-);
Huszári István - Organ;
Zentai László - Drums.

In the fall of 1983, the band formed a trio:

Sőth Sándor, Povorai Gábor, Mosonyi Csaba.
