Rosemary's Sons

Members: Martijn Hagens, Maarten van Damme, Ad Van Halteren, Bart Herber, Thomas Lina

Melodic pop/rock band from Breda, Noord-Brabant (The Netherlands).

Long-time friends Ad Van Halsteren and Martijn Hagens (they played together in Wild At Heart) meet drummer Bart Herber and form Rosemary's Sons in the autumn of 1998. In 1999 keyboard player Thomas Lina joins the band. Their self-released debut CD 'Misery Loves Company' attracts the attention of several record companies. In 2001 Rosemary's Sons sign to Warner Music and guitarist Maarten Van Damme joins the band. 'All In Hand' is released in April 2002. The album contains twelve catchy pop/rock à la Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp. 'All In Hand' gets overall good reviews and enters the Dutch Album Top 100. In 2004 Warner Music Benelux is not only forced to make various staffers redundant, but also to delete its entire local roster, including Rosemary's Sons. But in 2005 the band sign to V2 Records Netherlands. Rosemary's Sons releases their third album 'St. Eleanor's Park'.
