Dieter Mauson, originally from Leer, a town in the North-West of Germany, was active with the ambient solo-project Majestic Twelve in the nineties. In 2011 he started his new solo-project Occupied Head. He lives in Hamburg, Germany, and is also a member of the following duos: Nostalgie Éternelle (since 1986), Delta-Sleep-Inducing Peptide (since 1989), Opfer der Hingabe (since 1989), 7697 Miles (since 2016), The Pulse (since 2020) and Die Abbilder (since 2020), as well as of the trio Sauerstofff (since 2017).
