Sally Still

English bassist, songwriter, and music journalist, best known as member of new wave group Furniture in the 1980s. Later resurfaced as a journalist for Melody Maker in the early 1990s, writing under the pseudonym "Sally Margaret Joy." During her time at Melody Maker, she collaborated with fellow journalist Chris Roberts as a member of Catwalk, his musical project at that time. Still and her Furniture bandmate Jim Irvin have since collaborated as songwriters for other artists, most notably English DJ and house music producer Michael Gray, co-writing his 2004 UK Top Ten hit "The Weekend."
