Tommy Ray Tucker

Effective period / Period of releases: 1960 - 1965

Died March 1985
Tucker was a white Country and R&B artist from Memphis who used his middle name ‘Ray’ on some releases to avoid confusion with Tommy Tucker. He released one record as Tommy Raye, including a cover of 'You Don't Love Me' by Willie Cobbs, which resulted in him being erroneously credited as songwriter (as Tommy Raye) on many later covers of the song.
