Real name: Alberto Ávila Leal
Colombian musician, composer and bandleader. Lived in Barranquilla, Bogotá (Colombia), Cuba (approx. 1957/59), Venezuela.Has his first hit in 1955 with "Las Golondrinas" and his band Los Caribeños.
Operated the label Avila Musical in Bogotá from 1974.
