One half of an illustrious songwriting duo with wife, the lyricist Cynthia Weil, writing The Righteous Brothers - You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'. They were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987 and received an award from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
